IDEA: Show of Force

A small shadow platoon, led by The Harbingers of Death and Destruction, launch an attack on the Light Squad's territory, during a graduation ceremony. Death and Destruction appear on the outskirts where the representatives of the squads present assemble against them.

After making a declaration of victory in the name of the Overlord, Destruction's dragon appears from outside the combat zone. Having finished charging his beam cannon attack, those gathered look on in horror as he fires it and destroys the most important building (command center, government building or whatever it is). The fallen building causes damage to the city as well.

The squads retaliate and a battle ensues. The battles split in two as Death is driven back and into a nearby forest, where he plays mind games until he disappears. Meanwhile, the other groups have to aid in relief efforts in the city, while protecting supplies and resources being attacked by Destruction and driving him back.

Eventually the enemy forces are driven back for the moment and the allied squads are left to clean up the mess.

Although that does sound like a cool idea, I think it's a bit much for at the moment, with hardly having any members and such. Maybe later though.
Also, I presume Death and Destruction are you and Ghost?

Yep, that's us and yeah this is more a storyline that would happen later on, though with a few alterations. The terrorist attack works fine as the instigation of the conflict, even if the Harbingers leave afterwards. This idea can be split into three separate events down the road. The instigation, assassination, and pressuring operations respectively. The assassination plot could even tie into the information the Mist Squad steals in the Hide and Seek plotline, if that gets through.

Otherwise, me and Ghost could always fall back on the comedy routine we came up with awhile back, lol
